About
The experiences that shaped how I lead.
My background has always been about more than titles. It has been shaped by community, curiosity, responsibility, and a desire to help people and organizations move forward.
I grew up in Forest City, North Carolina, where hard work, consistency, and showing up for people mattered. Those early influences still shape the way I approach leadership, accountability, and service.
From curiosity to leadership
Technology, people, and systems have been consistent themes throughout my life and career.
From an early age, I was drawn to understanding how things worked and how they could be improved. Over time, that curiosity blended with a strong interest in people, team dynamics, and the systems that help organizations operate well.
My career eventually took me through financial services leadership, team management, customer relationships, and later into business operations and technology services. While the industries changed, the heart of the work remained the same: help people perform well and help organizations move forward.
What organizations often need from me
I tend to be most effective in environments that need stronger structure, clearer expectations, and leadership that can connect strategy to day-to-day execution.
That may mean improving workflows, helping a team regain focus, building stronger accountability, or bringing steadiness to a period of growth or transition.
What I’m focused on now
Today, my professional focus centers on operations leadership, people leadership, and opportunities where broad business judgment, team development, and practical execution matter.
I’m especially drawn to organizations that value clear communication, strong culture, and leaders who can help align people, process, and performance.
Leadership philosophy
Steady, practical, and people-centered.
Clarity
I believe people do their best work when expectations are clear and communication is honest.
Structure
I focus on building systems and processes that support performance rather than create friction.
Trust
Teams grow when people feel trusted, supported, and connected to the bigger picture.
